The Shiant Islands

Contact
::
The Shiant Isles are a living working place cared for through long term stewardship. We welcome enquiries from those who feel a genuine connection to the islands or wish to spend time here in a thoughtful and considered way.
Because of the islands’ sensitivity and the need to coordinate activity carefully, visits are limited and arranged individually and responses may take time.

Visiting and Landings
::
Landings on the Shiant Isles are deliberately infrequent and carefully considered.
Enquiries relating to access should be made with an understanding that restraint, coordination, and cumulative impact are central to how the islands are cared for.
For context, please read Considering a Landing and the Shiant Isles Landing Charter before getting in touch.

When writing, a brief outline of the nature of your enquiry and any relevant context is helpful.We aim to respond where appropriate, but replies may not be immediate.
A Note on Stewardship
Care for the Shiant Isles depends on attention, patience, and respect for limits. Thoughtful engagement is always valued; urgency is rarely helpful.
